The devil is no match for your faith

Why the person who broke your heart can’t be the one to fix you
December 7, 2015

When people judge you and criticize you, remember that it says nothing about you and everything about them. You just keep living and making the rest of your life the best of your life. You don’t have time to throw stones at every dog that barks.

In life, people will question your faith, your integrity, your past, and your present. People who barely know you will judge you. They will criticize you and try to sabotage who you are and who you want to become. Family and friends will talk about your faith, and who or what you believe in. They’ll call you a fake, a phony, and a counterfeit. They won’t spend time to get to know you, but spend a lifetime judging you. But God is not deaf and he will make your enemies, your haters, and the ones plotting against you your footstool. You don’t have to say a thing or do a thing. God is fighting on your behalf. Just be you and do you and keep living for Christ and watch the spirit move in your life. You don’t have to remind or convince people that you’ve changed. Live your life right and let your actions do it for you.

What I’ve learned in my life is that people will talk about you, and it doesn’t matter how you choose to live your life, whether you build a business or work a regular 9-5 job, have children or choose not to have children, travel the world or live in the same neighborhood all of your life, get married or stay single, go to the gym 5 times a week or sit on the couch every night and eat Pringles (I love Pringles by the way lol) — whatever you do, someone will judge you for it. It’s sad to say, but that’s the ugly world that we live in.

For one reason or another, someone will find a reason to project their insecurities, their negativity, and their fears onto you and your life, and you’ll have to deal with it. It’s not what they call you or do to you… It’s what you answer to.

Food for thought:
